Eagle Rock School: this week's program
Jeff Liddle, Head of School, Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center, will speak at the Rotary Club of Estes Park on Thursday, January 14, at their regular noon meeting. His presentation will share the founding history and philanthropic story behind Eagle Rock, its current programming, and future plans.
Welcoming its first group of students in 1993, Eagle Rock has grown from a visionary idea to a nationally known, award-winning high school and professional development center. Eagle Rock is a residential high school for students who have not found success in traditional academic settings, and a professional development center that facilitates the efforts of educational organizations and others interested in re-engaging youth in their own education.
Liddle has been working with adolescents for over three decades, spending much of his career in the outdoor/experiential education field. He joined Eagle Rock in 2000, where he directed the wilderness program for five years. Next, he spend seven years working as the Director of Curriculum. He became Head of School in 2012.
Jeff earned his undergraduate degree at Slippery Rock University, Pennsylvania, and his Master’s Degree at the State University of New York, Cortland, New York.
Jeff joined our club three years ago this month.
