Jason Van Tatenhove is an accomplished author, journalist, and expert on political extremism and the challenges of the digital age. His work delves into the pressing issues of our time, including the intersections of technology, misinformation, and societal shifts. Jason’s expertise has been featured on CNN and MSNBC, where he’s joined hosts such as Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, and Morning Joe to discuss his insights and his book, The Perils of Extremism. His experience includes working with Georgetown Law’s Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection (ICAP) and the National Holocaust Memorial Museum, where he has collaborated on combating extremism.

Held by us on May 2nd, our efforts keep 73 nonprofit participating organizations healthy. Our own Foundation's health makes possible the matching donation program during the Christmas season.

Scott Robbins inducted Jill Zerhan into membership in the Rotary Club for the second time. Scott began with a brief biography, including Jill's activities in her previous membership, and her wanting to join Rotary to meet people, and to help people. Scott read the formal induction, and gave a Sponsor pin to Tara Moenning, who then gave a membership certificate and Rotary pin to Jill. He then led the members in the New Member Support Pledge.

Chuck Bonza announced the Duck Race Team Leaders meeting following the Club meeting, and the Duck Sorting event to take place after next week's Club meeting.
Dennis Gellhaus expressed the need for a new Foundation member, following Suzy Blackhurst's resignation.
Scott announced the Coffee Talk event this Saturday, 8:30 am, at the Inkwell.
Chuck, dressed as the Club's first President Al Hayden, asked for volunteers to plan our Club's 100th year celebration, and circulated a signup clipboard.
