The April 2nd Rotary Club meeting will be a club social.
 
It is time for us to just hangout together and visit for an hour.
 
The goal is for all of us to get to know each other a little better.  And perhaps ourselves, too.
 
Guy Van der Werf will provide three questions for us to ponder and discuss in small table format.
 
Let’s have fun!
 
Our program on April 2nd will be held in person, but a Zoom link will be provided.

Please join us to celebrate 100 years of our club on April 23rd at 11:30 AM in the American Legion for  lunch, festivity and a presentation by
Kurtis Kelly, Chuck Bonza, and Jack Ford.
 
Luncheon includes: 
Rosemary potatoes, green bean casserole, salad.
 
Choice of entree:
Prime Rib.  $35.  
Lemon chicken  $20
Vegetarian lasagna    $20
 
Our dinner starts at 11:30 AM followed by a 12 noon meeting.  It will include memories of  “Firsts” in our club.  Our presentation will include a characterization of Joe Mills telling the story of the “Dream Big” effort.

Invitation to Attend a Free Thank-You Dinner at the Rec Center

The Estes Valley Community Center is hosting an appreciation dinner (free!) on Sunday, April 19, from 4-6 p.m. to thank volunteers and sponsors for their support.  As a sponsor of the EVCC, our Rotary club has been invited to send up to 4 people to this event.  If you would like to attend, please let Beth know at weisberg.family@verizon.net by April 9, so she can send in our RSVP by the deadline.

Meeting Notes March 26, 2026
 
President Jack Ford called the meeting to order.
Carl Robicheaux presented the Invocation.
Jack led the Pledge of Allegiance
We sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"
 
Beth Weisberg introduced EPHS teacher and HOSA Advisor Cynda Basch, who described the HOSA program and thanked the Club for a donation for uniforms. With Cynda were three HOSA students who described their interests.

  • Carl was happy to see Bill Solms.
  • Ben was happy Carl went before so he could get seconds.
  • Jean was happy that she, Rick, Guy, and Stacy Windsor had a blast at PETS.
  • Rick Life was happy to learn that the 5th test in the 4-Way Tests is "Will it be Fun?".
  • Scott Robbins was happy that Wendy submitted her membership application.
  • Chris Davis was happy because he and Rita celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary, and for the Duck Sort.
  • Neal Standard was happy they got 12 responses for a RYLA event.
  • Suzy Blackhurst was happy she belongs to a club like this.
  • Bill Solms was happy to see Suzy and Dana, and is setting up a fund for a uniform for Carl.
  • Beth was happy to hear the HOSA students, and happy that she made it through the 4 1/2 hour TSA line.
