Estes Park High School offers 4 choral ensembles for student participation and exploration of musical arts.  These include Concert Choir, Treble Choir, Tenor/Bass Choir, and Major 13. Treble Choir is a choral ensemble for any level of student that sings soprano or alto. While the focus is largely performance-based, this group's concentration is learning a vast array of repertoire, proper vocal technique and ensemble singing.

This Thursday, Treble Choir will help us get in the mood for the Holidays.

Our program on December 4th will be held in person, but a Zoom link will be provided.

Job Opening Little Duck 2026/Big Duck 2027

A way to give back, leave a legacy, and demonstrate service above self!

Our Rotary Club, for 38 years, has assured the health and growth of so many nonprofits in the Estes Valley, providing services, programs, health care, food, mental health services, fire services, and many more benefits to our community.

The Little/Big Duck role is a chance to facilitate this notable event in Estes Park. Last year 74 organizations were energized with duck adoptions, to assure the future of the delivery of their futures.

Following a time line being developed this year, you will have the opportunity to 'project manage' and facilitate the functions of the Duck Race. Thanks to the team leaders of these functions, you and they become a small company of actors preparing for the Big Race Day. Sponsors, Participating organizations, Entertainment, Event Day Coordinator, the Sheriff of the River, Start and Finish line leaders, Publicity and more are held by team leaders. You jump in when necessary, facilitate and remove barriers, and set out the coordinating steps for Race Day.

There are so many contributing leaders in the Estes Valley, and this position of Big Duck is one of the top contributors to the quality of life we enjoy living here.

Talk to me, Annie, Suzy, or Beth. Ex-Big Ducks Kathy Grosbeck, Beth Weisberg, and Bill Solms are ones to talk to as well. Let's look ahead to the Duck Race of 2027, by learning the ropes this year.

Thanksgiving  Among Friends at Ember

We had so much fun at our first (hopefully annual) Thanksgiving meal for Noon Rotary Club members at the Ember buffet on Thursday -- delicious food, great company, and nobody had to cook or clean up! Thor and Darlene Homme drove up from Texas to share Thanksgiving with Jim and Jean Austin, Pete Sinnott, Gordon and Annie Slack, and Beth Weisberg.

We forgot to take pictures until the meal was over and Jean had already headed out, but Annie still captured the mood with these photos.

We're looking forward to having any other interested Rotary members join us for Thanksgiving next year.
