Request for Help with Half Marathon
My name is Anna, and I'm the event director for the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon.
This race will take place in Estes Park next weekend, Saturday, July 31st.
Could your organization fill some volunteer needs I am seeking?
Seeking volunteer help for multiple aspects of our race (i.e. helping at the expo, handing out medals at the finish, etc.) but specifically, the police department is requiring that a certain number of race marshals are present at a few key intersections during our half marathon
Looking for 8 individuals (preferably adults, otherwise responsible 16+ year olds) to act as those race marshals for us.
Four hours on Saturday morning stationed in specific intersections around town/neighborhoods where runners might be turning, but aren't necessarily where a police officer is required.
Need 8 individuals that would be interested in helping
We could make a donation to the group as a fundraiser/thank you as well.
Feel free to give me a call if you need further details. 435-669-8845 Thanks.
