David Batey has been Estes Park Health (EPH) Board Chair since 2018 and an EPH Board member since 2017. Before moving to Estes Park in 2012, he was Epidemiologist/Advisor in ExxonMobil's Global Medical Department.
Vern Carda has been CEO of Estes Park Health (EPH) since March of 2020. Before coming to Estes Park, Vern was Vice President, Regional Operations for the Billings Clinic Organization in Billings, Montana. In this role, he devised and implemented regional health care strategy for much of Montana, Northern Wyoming, and Western Dakotas and had operational responsibility for 11 Critical Access Hospitals (like Estes Park Health), 4 regional branch clinics and other regional partnerships.

Questions, answers, and discussion
Organizations like Estes Park Health (in the category of State or Political Subdivisions in Colorado's Fair Campaign Practices Act) are prohibited from campaigning when they have ballot issues like 8A or candidates running for office.
As described in the Fair Campaign Practices Act, Estes Park Health is permitted to provide factual information, tested by including both arguments for and against the proposal, can pass a resolution advocating for an issue (EPH did this), and can describe resolutions passed that are relevant to the issue.

Happy Easter everyone! The Rotary 4 way test can easily be incorporated into a life of resurrection. Treating others as valued and appreciate the unconditional support is vital to us all. I am deeply appreciative of our Rotary Club and the level of commitment to Estes and the World that is shown as we continue our outreach and care.

Rotary Member, and President of the Estes Park Health Foundation Kevin Mullen introduced Foundation Rodeo Queens Sherry Unruh, Dona Cooper, and Lesta Johnson for a presentation on fundraising for the hospital Foundation.
They have raised over $184 thousand dollars for a new MRI, a new mammography, and an infusion center, all significant needs in the hospital.
Mrs. Rooftop Rodeo candidates this year will be raising money for a new DEXA machine (Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry) for the Diagnostic Imaging Center at Estes Park Health.

Jim Jonell asked for volunteers to be a host family for the Rotary Exchange Student next school year.
The Big Duck (Bill Solms) was back from his travels with wife Marianne.
He recognized and thanked Little Duck Scott Robbins for his leadership and hard work planning and directing the other team members in getting ready for the race in less than a month from now.
