Update with President Dennis Gellhaus

Our Rotary Club is alive and well!  Community outreach has been working on projects for Board approval - such as a banner at Estes Valley Community Center, building materials for a school shed, and workers for Community Cafe.  Thanks Beth Weisberg for your leadership!

Ron Gordon has our International Committee raising funds for the Turkey earthquake.  You can still give a check this Thursday!  The Bangladesh project is also on the table as well as the Albania summer camp proposal.

Duck Race tickets can be purchased on line and things are gearing up for a great Race.  Thanks Scott Robbins!

Yes, we are alive!  But maybe you enjoyed the Frozen Dead Guy Days this past weekend! Cheers!

Thanks for listening.
Dennis

Still Time to Donate to Disaster Relief
for
Turkey and Syria

Our club members and some caring town folks donated $2530 to Rotary International Disaster Response Fund for Turkey and Syria. The Foundation matched that donation with $2500 for a total of $5030 as of 3/16/23.

There is still time to increase our gifts to this effort by donating up to our deadline, Thursday, March 23.  Checks or cash may be brought to our next meeting, or be picked up from you or done on line with credit cards. Call me at 970-586-0370 if the latter two options work better for you.

Thanks to all those who have supported this critical effort!

Support Lawrence Trifiletti Raising Funds
for St. Jude's in the San Diego Half Marathon

Lawrence Trifiletti

I am raising money for St Jude's by running the San Diego Half Marathon. I have chosen to run for a reason bigger than myself by fundraising for the kids and families at St. Jude. I am training to cross the finish line on race day and with your donation we can cross the fundraising finish line together because the money you donate helps find a cure for childhood cancer.

Did you know:

  • Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
  • Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
  • St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Donate today to help me reach my goal of $500. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancer continues.
