Mountain Echoes, directed by Jenna Olschlager, will sing at the Rotary Club of Estes Park on Thursday, November 19, at their regular noon meeting.
Mountain Echoes is a choir with 52 students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade at the Estes Park Elementary School. These students practice once a week after school. They are a busy group! Many of them play sports like basketball, football, and running club, participate in student council, tech club, and chess club, and even take piano lessons. They are a dedicated group who love to sing.
Mountain Echoes is directed by Jenna Olschlager and accompanied by Mike Williams. This is Olschlager's second year teaching in Estes Park, and she feels very fortunate to combine her three passions in life: teaching music to children in the mountains.
"We hope that you enjoy their concert!" said Olschlager.
Please note that all family members, friends and other community members are very welcome to join us for the performance.
President Scott Thompson called the meeting to order. Ken TeSelle offered the invocation. Dave Evans led us in singing and the pledge. Jim Austin handled guest introductions. Bob Brunson's guest was his son, David. Sue Fereday's guest was our exchange student, Mica. Rita DuChateau's guest was Bob Fulton, social media consultant to the Duck Race.
Levity and Brevity drew laughs this week!
