President Anne Slack Presents Workshop on Membership Satisfaction Surveys Anne Slack and Grant Delbecq Anne Slack and Grant Delbecq gathered the data from eleven surveys our members completed, and divided the responses into five categories. Board members will lead discussions of the five groups to plan strategies for the next three years. Shurie Scheel, District Visioning Chair, presented the idea last week of Four Club Pillars: Membership, Fundraising, Club Management, and Service. The five categories from the data received from the surveys will be combined into four categories. Here is your chance to have a direct effect on how our Club operates. Come and participate in this workshop to improve our Club’s growth. Anne graduated with a degree in Sociology from Eckerd College (formerly Florida Presbyterian College) and later earned a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University. She practiced in Amarillo, TX before moving to Estes Park in 2001 where she set up Mountaintop Physical Therapy. She also founded Healing Waters, a pool with a treadmill that would allow people to exercise while recuperating from various illnesses or surgeries. She is happily married to John Gordon Slack, a fellow Rotarian with the Sunrise Club, and has two adult children, Nancy Lugo who lives in Abilene, TX, and David Slack who lives in Los Angeles, CA. Grant Delbecq grew up in Dearborn Michigan with his parents and brother. He attended Michigan State University where he earned a degree in Packaging Engineering with additional studies in Physical Distribution, the forerunner of Supply Chain. Upon graduation in 1981 he moved to Dallas, TX, and took a job with LTV Aerospace. He met and married his wife, Carol, and went on to get a MBA at Southern Methodist University. Carol and Grant added two children to their family during this time period: Dillon and Samantha. They now have one grandchild.
