The Estes Park High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Ms. Sheridan Monroe, will perform on Thursday, May 7th, for the Rotary Club of Estes Park. This is Ms. Monroe's first year with Estes Park High School, having replaced recently retired long-time band director Chuck Varilek. In addition to the High School Band, Ms. Monroe also directs the middle school band.
The EPHS bands have a long history of winning awards and placing highly in state competitions as well as providing entertainment for the Estes Park community. Also, the Jazz Band has been a part of each Rotary "It's Showtime!" production.
The selections in today's program have been chosen to demonstrate the high degree of professionalism and accomplishment in the musical training and studies of our high school musicians.
