Program:
Annie introduced our program.   The Mountain Echoes chorus sang for us as they have for many of our past Holiday meetings.   They are from the elementary school, directed by Paul Maley, and assisted by Amelia Bryant who is a Senior at EP High School.    Our Ruby Bode soloed with the chorus on one number.  Joining them for a segment was Ballet Renaissance, young girls dancing  in beautiful costumes, directed by Brianna Furnish assisted by Radoslaw Kokoszka.

Community Service Meeting
January 4, 2024

The Community Service committee will be meeting immediately after the noon club meeting on January 4, and we will be voting on whether to match January Happy Money donations with Projects funds, for Karen’s project helping the homeless immigrants in Denver.  Pete Sinnott made the proposal to donate all the Happy Money collected during January at the 12/07/23 Rotary Noon Meeting.
New 2024 Friendship Cards Available

President Karen Thompson & Chuck Bonza
display new 2024 Friendship Card

The 2024 Rotary Friendship Card is now available at CABINtique, Country Market, Estes Park Visitor Center, Macdonald Book Shop, Mad Moose, Safeway Guest Services, Quality Inn and Wynbrier Home/Wynbrier Ltd.  This year's card features a magnificent photo of a Mountain Sheep in Rocky Mountain National Park taken by visiting photographer Steven Rishel.  Each $10 card purchased lets you receive discounts at more than 70 local merchants and businesses in the Estes Valley. "Friendship Cards make great gifts, whether you live in Estes Park or visit throughout the year," said Karen Thompson, Noon Rotary President.  "It's an inexpensive gift that can be used all year long by residents and visitors alike!"  Dale Bonza, EP News, 12/15/23

Cards are also available in our lobby on Thursdays.  Volunteers are needed to check on supplies at the above listed stores and to collect money on a weekly basis.  This task requires very little time and is an excellent way to demonstrate "Service Above Self".
