Rotary Board Unanimously Approved Support for Solar Panels

Rotary Club Board unanimously approved the International Service Committee’s request for $2000 titled “Support for Solar Panel USB Chargers for Ukraine “!  The money will be used to ship at least 20 solar panels to Rotary clubs in Ukraine. The clubs will distribute the panels to medical facilities, schools, military units and other critical entities based on the most current urgent needs. Each portable panel can charge 4 cell phones at once providing users with communication abilities that many areas have lost due to loss of electricity resulting from Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.

Rotary Club Banner

The new Rotary Club of Estes Park banner showing our club’s support for the Rec Center is now up!  The fee paid for this banner goes to subsidize youth programs and new equipment at the Rec.  Thanks to Madison for bringing to our attention that we should be supporting those programs with a banner.  You can see the new banner either from the track above (which is available to all, without any fee or Rec membership – just walk in!), or from the gym below.
