Program
Ron Gordon introduced the program by Dr. Kayce Anderson, "Dismantling Barriers to Girls' Education in Rural Kenya." She described what her non-profit, For the Good Period, is doing to build the capacity of Kenyans in 58 rural villages through community, student and school empowerment, especially in the area of educational opportunity for girls. Anderson's goal is to build capacity in the community that will have a long term sustainable impact. Anderson signed a book, Kenya ABCs, for the children's library.
