Meeting Notes for January 22, 2026 President-Elect Guy van der Werf opened the meeting at 12:00. Scott Robbins gave the Invocation. Guy led the Pledge of Allegiance. Happy Money - Carl Robicheaux has $1 in honor of Tom Maher, and $1 because the Moennings can be proud of Indiana.
- Pete Sinnott is happy that the Dementia Day Center has raised about $470,000, has hired an executive director, and hopes to open the 1st of April.
- Dave Boon is happy that Indiana won the NCAA football championships.
Announcements: - Carl announced a symposium at the Methodist Church, tentatively on March 21, to educate our seniors on the services that are available to them, and also to hear what their needs are in Estes.
- Chuck Bonza had two Duck Race announcements:
- Larry Williams confirmed 67 organizations signed up, more than last year.
- The Holiday Inn Delaware North people are going to put in a Yellowstone trip, hotel packages, and a major sponsorship.
- Annie Slack added that Sunrise Rotary signed up. Also, there is a Foundation Meeting today at Quality Inn at 1.30.
- Scott announced a new membership initiative: the Buddy Program, intended to get newer members paired together with older members. Scott also recognized Dave Boon, who has transitioned from Honorary Member to Active Member.
- Guy cautioned about the weather. Anyone who needs help can call Guy.
Program Guy van der Werf introduced new Active Member Dave Boon, who described the history and programs of Rocky Mountain RYLA and Young RYLA. Dave Boon presents RYLA Guy gives Dave a Piece and Young RYLA of the Rock Adjournment President-Elect Guy led the Four-Way Pledge and rang the bell at 1:00. Dave Evans
