Christmas Message from President Doug Mann Dear Fellow Rotarians,
What an amazing year it has been for the Rotary Club of Estes Park. Our proud tradition of serving the Estes Park community was again demonstrated in so many ways in 2019. From our Duck Race supporting local nonprofits to our international engagement meeting needs around the world, our club has continued to be a shining light of hope to so many.
In thinking about all we’ve accomplished together in 2019, I am also reminded of those who have journeyed with us, but whom we have lost this past year. We remember Bob Brunson, Ken Cole, Roger Thorp and Jim White, who added so much to our Rotary experience. Our road was their road as well, and we miss them in our midst as we reflect on our accomplishments and look forward to what lies ahead.
It has been my joy and pleasure to serve with each of you in 2019, and I am looking forward with great anticipation to what a new and glorious 2020 has in store for not only our club, but each of us as individuals. As I enjoy this Christmas season with family and friends, I am thankful for each one of you in my life. Each one of us has become a better individual through our mutual Rotary bond.
Merry Christmas – It’s going to be a wonderful New Year!
