Cody Rotary Club and District 5440 Contribute $4,000 to Heart Mountain Volunteer Medical Clinics
The Cody Rotary Club recently presented a check for $4,000 to the Heart Mountain Volunteer Medical Clinic (HMVMC). Rotary District 5440 initiated the gift with the Cody Rotary Club matching their support. This is in addition to funds provided by the Cody Rotary Club to help establish the HMVMC in Cody in 2010.
The HMVMC is a volunteer staffed medical clinic providing free outpatient non-emergency acute and chronic primary care to eligible patients. With clinics in Powell and Cody, it provides basic medical care focused on wellness and disease prevention encouraging active patient participation for maximum success. Since its opening in 2008, HMVMC continues to expand its services to meet the under-served medical needs of Big Horn Basin residents.
