Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world?

Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back.

Our 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris. The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905 as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.

Don Day Receives State Award

Robin Grandpre of the Wyoming Department of Education
announced that Don Day has been selected as the winner

in Wyoming Department of Education State Leader category

for the K-12 Digital Learning awards! He was nominated by

our President Elect, Robin Sims, who commented, “We are

thrilled for both Don and for the Rotary Club  of Cheyenne!

Imagine our club’s surprise when we first got the call from

Microsoft saying that they wanted to give us $10,000 to start

a STEAM program, and our blessing that someone like Don

was at the helm as president of our club to take that call!

This is now a double blessing. Thank you! ”

Host Families Needed

We have a first family committed to host our student at East High

School (thank you Carly and John Rando)!  We are still in need

the second and third families for the East student.

For Central High School, we have the middle family committed,

and still need our first family and third family.  Please help me to

spread the word of this urgent need so that our student can get

his/her US Visa paperwork as soon as possible.  Feel free to give

them my phone number and/or email and encourage them to

call me soon.

Thanks for all that you do and all of the support that you have

shown the Youth Exchange Program.
