Fighting Hunger to Build Stronger Communities - That's What People of Action  Do!

Hunger hides in every community. That’s why Rotary clubs in Cheyenne

support programs like the VA Produce Distribution project and Friday

Food Bags, to provide healthy food and develop sustainable solutions to

food insecurity. Thank you Miller Farms for your donations, and the Cheyenne

After Hours Club for Coordinating this project all summer!

Peaches On Sale Now
Peach Sale Update:  Last 2 Weeks to ORDER Peaches!

We will place our peach order on Friday, August 9, so be sure to

order your peaches on-line before then, or at our August 7 meeting!!! 

We've sold 222 cases so far - that's 78 fewer than last year. 

So let's make one last push for peach sales and top last year's record!!!

(thank you Carly and John Rando)!  We are still looking for 2 families for the

Manushree (girl) from India for East.

 

For Central High School, we have still need one more.

Spike Polio

 

 

 

On Tuesday, September 17, the nationally ranked LCCC Volleyball team in

support of the Cheyenne Rotary Clubs will hold Spike Polio Night.  Cheyenne’s

hometown team will take on Otero Junior College as they continue their quest

for another regional championship and national title bid while raising funds to

eradicate polio.  All proceeds from ticket sales for the event will be donated to

End Polio Now.  The game starts at 6 p.m. at the LCCC RAC.  Tickets are $5

for adults and $3 for students.  Join the fight to Spike Polio!
