 End Polio Now
Email from Albert Tien, District 6630 PolioPlus Chair. I am asking for your help inviting your club members, friends and family to join us all at the District 6600, 6650 and 6630 End Polio Now Event, August 15, 2025 at Progressive Field. The Guardians will be playing the Braves. We are only 3 weeks away from the event. I would also like to ask your clubs to please donate a basket for the Silent Auction to further raise funds for the End Polio Now Campaign. In the past baskets with sports memorabilia, tickets to sports or cultural events, adult beverages, regional specialties, handcrafted items have done very well. Ticket information: Private Pennant District Event - $72/ticket. Includes food and drinks View Box (section 438) - $46/ticket. Tickets can be purchased on the District 6630 website before July 27th. At the event we will have the following: Raffle tickets (1st Prize First Pitch, 2nd Prize Box seats, 3rd Prize Autographed Guardian’s baseball) $20 for 3 tickets or 1 ticket for $10 Silent Auction (each club is asked to put together baskets) $20 for an arm’s length of tickets. Corporate Sponsorship of the End Polio Now tee-shirts are being solicited ($300 for your logo on back of shirt) Please contact me (610-810-8433 or atien@me.com Corporate Logos need to be to Albert by July 27th and funds payment to him as well. We are so close to eradicating polio. With your help, we can make this a reality. The Gates foundation has pledged to match our donations 2:1. Let's Unite for Good and end polio once and for all!
