End Polio Now

I am asking for your help inviting your club members, friends and family to join us all at the District 6600, 6650 and 6630 End Polio Now Event, August 15, 2025 at Progressive Field. The Guardians will be playing the Braves. We are only 3 weeks away from the event.

I would also like to ask your clubs to please donate a basket for the Silent Auction to further raise funds for the End Polio Now Campaign. In the past baskets with sports memorabilia, tickets to sports or cultural events, adult beverages, regional specialties, handcrafted items have done very well. Ticket information:

Private Pennant District Event - $72/ticket. Includes food and drinks

View Box (section 438) - $46/ticket.

Tickets can be purchased on the District 6630 website before July 27th.

At the event we will have the following:

 Raffle tickets (1^st Prize First Pitch, 2^nd Prize Box seats, 3^rd Prize Autographed Guardian’s baseball) $20 for 3 tickets or 1 ticket for $10

Silent Auction (each club is asked to put together baskets)  $20 for an arm’s length of tickets.

 Corporate Sponsorship of the End Polio Now tee-shirts are being solicited ($300 for your logo on back of shirt) Please contact me (610-810-8433 or atien@me.com  Corporate Logos need to be to Albert by July 27^th and funds payment to him as well. 

We are so close to eradicating polio.  With your help, we can make this a reality. The Gates foundation has pledged to match our donations 2:1.  Let's Unite for Good and end polio once and for all!

Our Club will be making a Bourbon basket for the Silent Auction.  If anyone wishes to contribute to it, please reach out to Bob Sweitzer with your contribution of either a bottle, miscellaneous items, or cash to purchase additional items.

1. On July 23rd we will be starting the meeting at 7:30 am to accommodate the recognition of multiple sponsors for the annual golf outing with recognition plaques for the various levels of sponsorship contributed to the event.  It is important to demonstrate our appreciation to the sponsors who make our event a success.
2. For the weekly meeting on July 23rd, Rich Bedell will be presenting the Budget for 2025-2026.  Please be sure to attend.
3. A reminder that dues are currently open to be paid.  The amount is $200.00 for the year, or, $100.00 each half.  Please make your check payable to Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe Falls.  Paying before the end of July will help John Long a great deal.
4. Payment for the Rubber Duck tickets for the 5th Wednesday outing on July 30 are also due now.  Jeff Film will be providing ticket information accordingly.
5. Last, but not least.  The Football books sales have been going well.  Please submit the book's back cover page and the $20.00 to Dick Hall.  The money must be submitted with the back page at the same time.  Only paid books will be valid for winning.
