Good Evening! Meeting this Wednesday! The Center, 4157 Hudson Drive, Stow, 7:30a.m. Come Early for Breakfast 7:15 a.m. $15.00 Thank you. I would like to thank all of the members who attended the meeting last week. Glad that you braved the cold weather. This week's meeting will be starting a few minutes early so that we can begin our Shark Pond conference call. We have the opportunity to listen to 2 entrepreneurs located in Malawi, South Africa. They will pitch their business plans and the committee will decide which one, if either, or both, will receive a $1,000 contribution from our club. The result of our contribution will be in the form of a loan of $900 to be repaid to a local Rotary club in South Africa. The other $100 will offset fees to support the program. The first presenter is looking for funding to help her improve and increase her pig farming operation. The second presenter is looking to improve and expand his printing and photocopying business. It will be very interesting to listen to their plans and responses to our questions. This process will allow our club to more directly participate in a global project and watch it grow over time. Please send all social media items to Annie. She is doing a great job keeping our Facebook page updated. Please send any pictures of projects or events to her so that we can get people excited about our club. Speaking of social, every month with a 5th Wednesday, we replace our morning meeting with a social gathering in the evening. A friendly reminder to all new members with blue sheets, our board meeting is the second Friday of every month. Our next meeting is Friday February 13, 2026 at City Hall at 7:15 am.
