On Saturday, March 28th it is time to meet the Easter Bunny at Silver Springs Park.  Please sign up to work the event from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Signup sheets will be at the check in desk Wednesday morning.  A great time for families with children 10 years and younger.  The park entrance off of Young Road will be the place to be at 5238 Young Road.  Hope to see many people there.

Malin spoke to us about Resolve.Org who is helping families deal with fertility issues and provide hope in the journey.  A walk is planned for April 25th at the Akron Zoo to raise both awareness and funds for the organization.  Teams can be formed and all are encouraged to participate.

We have a team for the Walk of Hope on April 25th!  Maria Ferrara can provide further details about it.

It's that time of year when we have to recognize Board members for their service and then nominate and elect new Board members.  At the end of June, 3 members will be ending their terms and new members are needed.  Those members are Annette Oborn, Dick Hall, and John Pribonic.  It was decided that a nominating committee was really not needed, so, we are looking at the members to step up and proclaim your interest at being a member of the Board of Directors.  This is a great way to participate and learn more about our club.  If you would like to be considered for a position to be a Board member, let us know so that you may be considered and your name presented in a formal nomination.

Tentatively, April 22nd meeting will be the day for the elections to be held.  Floor nominations and seconds will be accepted through the meeting on April 15th.  This is a great way to serve the club and be an integral part of the process.
