Our speaker last week was the one and only Sienna Leising. She shared her experience though the Short Term Rotary Exchange Program. Sienna spent almost six weeks in Treviso, Italy, about 40 miles north of Venice. She was definitely living her best life as she traveled about Northern Italy visiting the Italian Alps, Prosecco, and Venice. She had a wonderful time with the family she stayed with and also met other exchange students that were visiting from other parts of the country. Caterina, a 15 year old from the family she was staying with, came back with Sienna and stayed with her for a month. They took her to Cedar Point, the Zoo, and many other adventures. She would like to thank Rotary for giving her the opportunity to travel abroad. It is something she will never forget.

 

 

 

Tom has been a wonderful Rotarian for many years and we always look forward to him being announcer because you never know how far his jokes will go.  Thank you Tom for your dedication to our club and for helping us get the word out about how wonderful our club is. You are awesome!

 

We had a great time at the Rubber Ducks game last Thursday!! They didn't come away with a win, but we all won with the fireworks display. It was great!! And set to the smooth sounds of Peter Gabriel. Who knew he had so many hits?! Thank you to all those that came out for our night of fun!
