Rotary Foundation Forms: From now on if you are purchasing items on behalf of the Rotary Foundation, use our tax exempt form so you do not have to pay taxes and can save some money for our Club. Additionally, if you purchase something on behalf of the Foundation and need to be reimbursed, there is a form to fill out and you will submit that along with a copy of the receipt to Rick Archer and he will issue you a check. You can mail or email him the paperwork once completed. Both of these forms are available for pick from the Sgt. at Arms and we are working on making them available on our website as well.

Speakers - We continue to look for dynamic speakers so we can make our meetings fun and informative! Please give your suggestions to Annie Hanson.

Tabs for Ronald McDonald House - Save the pop and beer can tabs for Ronald McDonald House and bring them to Don Coughlin at any meeting.
Have fun and spread out!!
Thank you to those that are now sitting "THE Best Table!!!" You guys are the best!! "Let him that would move the world, first move himself." - Socrates (Shameless, I know. devil)
Club Assembly and PHF Celebration!!
Gail Mosley was our Host AND Announcer last week and did a great job!

Gail was invited to Rotary by Aunt Mary and she was looking for an opportunity to help her community and make new friends and Rotary has given her that avenue. Thank you Gail for being a great Rotarian!

We had a Club Assembly last week along with some very special guests!

First we voted on our new Board Members and will welcome Brad Ruth. John Pribonic, and Aunt Mary Dula in July when Linda Trevorrow starts her term as President. Thank you all for stepping up as leaders in our Club! We look forward to your induction in a few months.

Next we heard from our first special guest District Governor John Reyes. John kicked off our celebration of our wonderful Rotarian's who donated to the Rotary Foundation so far. For a record number of people those donations took them to a new Paul Harris Fellow level! John recognized that our club has donated over $9000 to the Rotary Foundation so far this Club year with an average donation per Rotarian at an astounding $155.00!! He thanked everyone for their generosity.

In order to have this kind of success you have to have a great champion. Dick Hall was that person and then some! Dick, quietly and steadily communicated with our members and helped us have one of most successful years!! Dick came up and read the names of all the members that contributed while I got my steps in running around and handing out thank you's. After I caught my breath, we invited up all of our Members that received Paul Harris Fellow pins as a result of their contributions. For all of our newer members, when you reach $1000 in giving you receive your first PHF pin and for each $1000 in giving thereafter you get a +1. When you reach $10,000 in giving you become a Major Donor, a very special distinction and we are honored to have one of our members reach that level this year!! We loved having Bonnie Housley join us at our meeting as she has been missing for treatments. Thank you for coming! We also had a the pleasure of having Karen Monbeck visit us!! Karen did a lot behind the scenes to help Dick with all of his Rotary Foundation needs, so as a thank you, Dick and I pooled some of our Recognition Points and donated them to Karen to get her to the next PHF level! Thank you for all of your help Karen!!

Lastly, our District Rotary Foundation Chair talked to us about the ways our contributions help our local communities and the world!! Did you know that a portion of every donation you make comes right back to our District so we can use those funds to support local projects?! Also, because of Rotarian's like us, we are close to eradicating Polio!

Our PHF recognition went as follows:
Carrie Leising - PHF
Dave Christman - PHF + 1
Ray Evans - PHF + 1
Tom Loepp - PHF + 1
Bob Sweitzer - PHF + 1
Tom Bahr - PHF + 2
John Long - PHF + 2
Bill Choler - PHF +3 (Bill is also a Paul Harris Society member which means he has committed to donating $1,000 every year!! Thank you Bill!!)
Karen Monbeck - PHF + 3
Dick Hall - PHF + 5
Bruce Redmon - PHF + 6
Bonnie Housley - PHF + 7
Ron Taggert - PHF + 9 (Ron is now considered a Major Donor!!! Amazing! Thank you Ron!)

Here we grow again!!
"Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning."

We have two new members to welcome from the past few weeks!

First we welcome Amanda Steinheiser. Amanda is Station Manager at TCT Television Network in Chapel Hill. She lives here in Stow and is looking forward to helping us do great things in our community and beyond! Amanda stepped right up even before she was a member and helped us supply hats, scarves, and gloves to all of the children in the Helping Hands Project! We are so excited to have you as a part of our club Amanda!!

Our next new member is Olivia Saltzmann!! Olivia recently moved to Stow and works at Weichert Insurance. She has jumped in with both feet and has already participated in several service projects! Olivia is going to be a great Rotarian and we are so happy to have her as a part of our Club!
