Let's celebrate our new Board Members:

Mark Ferguson
Jeff Film
Pat Messmore
Gail Moseley

Dick Hall shared news about our former member, Tom Bahr.  Tom has agreed to serve on the Golf Outing Committee, meaning he will rejoin!  Welcome back Tom!

Brad Ruth is excited to be at the halfway point of paying for his children's college tuition, WITHOUT debt!  Yes, Brad --- you and your wife should celebrate!

Mary Dula is not currently cooking on Mondays.  She is thrilled to be supporting the local restaurants and the varied delivery options available to diners.  I wonder if Mary could order dinner for the rest of us?!

Linda Trevorrow was thrilled to see Leslee Salhany relaxing in Siesta Keys, Florida!  We all look forward to seeing each other soon!

Highlights from last week's meeting:

Career Tech Month gave us opportunities to learn about a variety of career choices available to young and old, alike.  Dick Hall was the host for all meetings in February!  His Happiness Moment this past week ---- he thanked all those who helped with the Career Tech programs for February.  Dick --- Thank YOU!

Dick introduced Kevin Ott from Turner Construction.  Kevin has worked for this $12B Company for 21+ years.  Mary-Jane Stanchina and Gail Stawiery also joined us last week to listen to Kevin's story about his company's $78M Crystal Clinic Orthopedic Center located on Embassy Parkway in Bath.

The new building/hospital is scheduled to have 12 surgical suites, 60 private patient rooms - each with an exterior view, a beautiful, spacious waiting area for loved ones and a small restaurant-style cafe for visitors, staff, and others.  The physicians expect to serve patients beginning in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Kevin demonstrated Open Space software, utilizing a 360-degree camera on a hardhat.  The camera takes a picture every 1.5 seconds that is coordinated with the appropriate architectural drawing.  The camera footage will belong to the owners at the completion of the project and will memorialize the secrets behind the walls!!

Technology never ceases to amaze us!!  We thanked Kevin for sharing the progress of the building's state-of-the-art construction and its unique structures, gadgets, and behind the scenes secrets!

Hosts --- Please invite your speakers to learn more about Rotary!  Carrie, thank YOU for keeping everyone 'in the loop'.

Helping Others!

Thousands of dollars have been disbursed to help hundreds, maybe thousands?, of disadvantaged members of our local communities!  High fives to all of YOU!!!!

Stow-Munroe Falls High School Marching Band

Thank you for your continued giving.

AMAZON SMILES is a great way to provide donations to our Club's Foundation.  Christina Gary sent an e-mail to everyone describing the process for signing up for this program. Shop at smile.amazon.com and Amazon will donate 0.5% of eligible purchases to our Rotary Foundation—no fees, no extra cost. Remember, this program is active at AMAZON SMILES, not the 'regular' Amazon website. The process is easy --- use your phone, computer, laptop, whatever makes you happy!  Just shop, shop, shop!  Thanks!
