Rotary Board Members Needed:
Three board seats are available to start July 1, 2019 for a three-year term. Board members are expected to attend meetings on the second Friday of the month from 7:15-8:30 a.m. Please let Annie know if you are interested in learning more. Self-nominations are due February 20 and elections will take place March 6.
Club Historian Needed:
We are looking for a volunteer to serve as the Club Historian. This important person's role will be to keep a record of the club's accomplishments and activities for the year, and collect items such as pictures and news clippings about the club and its members. Let Annie know if you'd like to take on this task.
New Member Proposed:
Gail Mosely has been proposed as a new member by Rotarian Steve Dunton. Gail is the box office manager at the Akron Civic Theatre. Gail is a resident of Stow, is a former member of the Stow Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce and Munroe Falls Parks Board, and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Please let Annie know if you have feedback on her application. Pinning is planned for Wednesday, January 16.
As a reminder to the club, new member applications are accepted and then approved at the next board meeting. We then advertise proposed member's names to the club for two weeks for comment before pinning.

Paul Harris Fellows
New and continuing Paul Harris fellows will be recognized at Wednesday's meeting.
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
Notable figures have been named as Paul Harris Fellows, including U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Russian President Boris Yeltsin, U.S. astronaut James Lovell, UN Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar, and Jonas Salk.
