Good Morning! Meeting this Wednesday! The Center, 4157 Hudson Drive, Stow, 7:45a.m. Come Early for Breakfast 7:15 a.m. $15.00 Thank you everyone for the support of our new District Governor, Bob Oborn. The installation and banner exchange was a great time for all in attendance. The turn out was excellent and it was very humbling to review all of the accomplishments of the Rotary clubs in the 2024-2025 year. Our club celebrated the success of the membership drive. The 4th of July Parade in Stow was inspiring as I represented our club in a beautiful yellow convertible with some assistants passing out candy along the way. I was not sure how far 150 pounds of caramels would go. Near the end of the route, I realized that maybe another 20 pounds would not have been a bad idea. But, I believe that we were able to provide candy for most everyone along the way. Please sign up for the adopt-a-spot weeding at the next meeting or see Marty for open spots. Important Note: This year's Rubber Duck outing will be on July 30th (the 5th Wednesday in July) at 6:35 pm. Tickets are $13.00 each. It is time to get your check in as soon as possible. Please make you check out to "Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe Falls and bring it with you to the meeting. I believe we have around 100 tickets sold. Just a reminder, that our one and only Bob Oborn will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the game. Let's all get out there to support our newly elected District Governor. Please send all social media items to Annie. She is doing a great job keeping our Facebook page updated. Please send any pictures of projects or events to her so that we can get people excited about our club. Speaking of social, every month with a 5th Wednesday, we replace our morning meeting with a social gathering in the evening. A friendly reminder to all new members with blue sheets, our board meeting is the second Friday of every month. Our next meeting is Friday July 11, 2025 at City Hall. All members are welcome.
