I want to send out a Thank You to Maria Ferrara and her helpers at last week's meeting to pilot the Zeffy platform for processing breakfast payments for members.  We had 11 breakfasts and 11 raffle tickets sold.  I am not sure if we need to keep the breakfast amount of $15.00 separated from the 50/50 ticket contribution of $1.00 so that the 2 amounts can be properly accounted for, or if simply knowing the number of breakfasts and raffle tickets is adequate for John Long as Treasurer to book the proceeds.  As the bank automatically received the funds, the only issue that I can see is that 2 entries would need to be made in order to book the breakfast receipts.  One for cash or checks, and one for the amount via Zeffy.  A separate entry may be needed for the raffle ticket amount for the pot to continue to grow.  If so, it still should be very simple to accommodate the new method.  In essence it should simplify the process as members may not need to write checks which would need to be endorsed and deposited.  We need to keep the club evolving to meet the member needs.  Thank you.
