Bob Oborn is celebrating the 5th wedding anniversary for his daughter and son-in-law with his son and his fiance! Annette will also be joining the fun!! Congratulations to all!

Linda Trevorrow welcomed Tom Bahr back from his leave of absence.

Tom Bahr told the group that is is happy to be back sharing fun times, great fellowship and wonderful service with all of us!

Linda Trevorrow was all about Happy Bucks. Milli Morrison will be inducted into the club and Jonathan Leissler has submitted his membership application. Thank you Jenny Coleman for introducing Jonathan to our group!!

Highlights from last week's meeting:

Amanda Steinheiser, our program host, explained that since her mother-in-law's bladder cancer diagnosis, her family has been doing its best to research the topic. The family members are thankful for the new friendships they are making with the medical community.

She introduced Tom Nolan, the COO of TCT Television Network and the president-elect for the Cuyahoga Falls Rotary Club. Tom began by sharing with our club that Amanda was the best employee he ever hired. Her work ethic, quick thinking and willingness to solve problems were much appreciated by Tom and her former co-workers. Yes, Amanda blushed!!

TCT Network, Inc., a worldwide Christian ministry broadcasting the Gospel since 1977, was founded in 1977 by Tom's grandparents, Drs. Garth and Tina Coonce, who recognized the need for Christian TV. Since then it has expanded to 23 states throughout the country. The station's programs are viewed by 2 million households (children and adults) nationally and are ranked among the top in Christian TV. Funding comes from non-profit donations and some commercial advertising.

While considered an essential business, the COVID crisis forced them to curtail some of their operations. Some of their programming continued during the COVID shutdown. The three main programs still produced daily are: "TCT Today" which is a news show with guests; "Prayer on Purpose" which supports a 24-hour prayer line; and "Ask the Pastors" which hosts a diverse group of clergy who discuss questions about the Bible and other topics. TCT's primary mission from its inception has always been to share the love of Jesus with a lost and dying world.

TCT offers programming relevant for today’s society, addressing topics and issues that affect everyday lives. Engaging the whole family with an array of fresh and relevant program choices, TCT provides viewers with the very best in faith and family television! What began as one Christian station in the Cincinnati area has exploded into a world-wide network of broadcast stations helping to bring the Gospel message to the world twenty-four hours a day – seven days a week – 365 days a year!

Using cutting edge technology to provide the best in faith and family television relevant to today’s generation, TCT has become a powerful voice for the Gospel.
