Well, the cold is still with us for a few more weeks. But, Spring is just around the corner.
For this year's cluster project, the focus will be on Pack Away Hunger who provides through their meal packing programs, highly nutritious Nutri-Plenty® meal. It is a dehydrated mix of rice, soy, veggies and a powerful micronutrient pack. This tasty meal provides essential nutrition that has been clinically proven to offset chronic malnutrition in children.
The goal is to raise $8,000.00 which would provide 20,000 meals. The cost of each meal is $0.40. The funding would be the 7 clubs in the cluster each contributing $600 and 3 individuals, or more, from each club contributing $50. That would be $50 from each of the 50 clubs in the District and 150 individuals each providing $50 and the goal would be surpassed.
More information will be coming and they have asked that our $600 contribution be submitted by March 1, 2026.
Please send all social media items to Annie. She is doing a great job keeping our Facebook page updated. Please send any pictures of projects or events to her so that we can get people excited about our club. Speaking of social, every month with a 5th Wednesday, we replace our morning meeting with a social gathering in the evening.
A friendly reminder to all new members with blue sheets, our board meeting is the second Friday of every month. Our next meeting is Friday February 13, 2026 at City Hall at 7:15 am. All members are welcome.
