This week we have our own Pat Messmore coming to us live to talk about Medicare updates.  A special thank you to all who assisted with Stuff the Bus event last week. It was a very successful event.  The adopt-a-spot looks great!  A shout out to Marty and all of you who have volunteered to beautify the area. 

 

President Dunton will be sending around a sign-up sheet for Sunset Blast this week.  The event is on August 31st and September 1st.  We will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets and educating our community about our Rotary Club.  This is one of the city's biggest events and an excellent opportunity to get the club some exposure.  

 

Our Reverse Raffle is only a two months away on October 9th at Guy's Party Center.  Silent auction items are needed and tickets are now available.  Every Rotarian is encouraged to attend the raffle and possibly sell a ticket or two.  

 

We have a lot of new Rotarians attending our meetings. Please introduce yourself and welcome them to your table.   A lot is happening and we want you to be part of it.

 

Please send all social media items to Annie.  She is doing a great job keeping our Facebook page updated. Please send any pictures of projects or events to her so that we can get people excited about our club.  Speaking of social, every month with a 5th Wednesday, we replace our morning meeting with a social gathering in the evening. 

 

Service before self starts with you getting involved.  So let's do it!!
