District 6630 District Governor - Bob Oborn.

Bob Oborn, a native of Cuyahoga Falls, served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman with tours stateside and in West Germany. After his service, he began a remarkable 42-year career at Kent Elastomer Products, Inc. Starting as a general laborer, he worked his way through most manufacturing and operations positions, ultimately becoming the company's President in 2011. During his tenure, Bob also earned a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing and an MBA from Kent State University.
A dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe Falls since 2009, Bob is a past president, District Interact Co-Chair, District Conference Chair and an Assistant Governor. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and Society member, Bequest Society member and a Major Donor. He was named Rotarian of the Year in 2016-17. Bob lives in Munroe Falls with his wife, Annette. They have two married children: Allison (Alex) and Patrick (Emma). They also have two pets; CJ, a lovable Chocolate Lab and Delilah, a moody and spoiled cat.

Zeffy continues to be a simple and quick way to collect funds as demonstrated by the fundraising events and the weekly breakfast meetings.  Thank you Maria Ferrara and her helpers at the events.  We need to keep the club evolving to meet the member needs.  Thank you.
