Good Morning!

Another week without Andy's terrific minutes, but good news she is back tomorrow!! Last week we were blessed with not one great speaker but two very informative speakers that I personally hope will come back so we can all ask the millions of questions that we had for each of them. First Jesse Hurst spoke about why the economy is the way it is. He is definitely one you want to talk to. He is with Impel Wealth Management in Cuyahoga Falls. Our next speakers, James Carpenter and unfortunately I did not get the young lady's name-Ron if you can help me out here) were from CAMO (Central American Medical Outreach). They told us about ways we can help this awesome organization provide medical supplies to Honduras and all of the amazing things this organization is doing. Check with Ron Taggart on how to get a chance to win a jeep and support this cause.

 

Tomorrow Carrie will be teaching us about club runner. This is a great Rotary tool that most of us do not know how to use. We will also be having a little work session to build boxes for Stuff the Bus this weekend. Please bring a roll of packing tape. Boxes will be provided.

 

A few other things: Marv Mills is in the hospital, hopefully we will have a good update tomorrow. Tomorrow is also foodbank Wednesday. As mentioned before this weekend is stuff the bus so sign up sheets will be out. We are also looking for someone with technology intelligence to co-chair the Foundation committee with Dave Renniger, please step up if you can help us out with this. Our fifth Wednesday social will be held at Silver Springs Park in the Lakeview pavilion on August 31 5:30pm-sunset. Please sign up. Cost is $5.00 ($10.00 entire family) and a covered dish to pass. I think there is one other sign up sheet for Clean up Stow. Great opportunities to give back to our community. Of course we have the football books, summer sunset blast and reverse raffle coming up.
