President Annie Hanson opened our meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by an invocation  with humor from Carrie Leising.
Carrie welcomed visitors, Joe and Dave Soulsby and Mary Dula after she thanked Steve Dunton and Dave Renninger for welcoming us.  Steve actually fined himself for not wearing a pin........what a Rotarian!

Board Meeting:  The notes from last Friday's Board Meeting are attached to this newsletter.  Annie highlighted a few things.  She reminded the club that we are to have five visitors a month to acquaint people with the club in the hope that they will want to join us.  She explained that each table now has a designated Ambassador who will assume the role of acquainting visitors with our club and making them feel welcome. Mary Dula was approved by our board for membership.

Our last directories are no longer available.  So, Annie made some paper copies for those who need a paper copy, but encouraged everyone to use Clubrunner for the directory information.  She offered her help to anyone who is not sure how to access it.  Each one of us can update our own contact information by going into Clubrunner.

PROGRAM:
Carrie Leising came to the podium with her walk-up song "Brown-eyed Girl" playing.  For her member moment she told us about her two daughters, one in high school and one in college and her husband who is a Stow firefighter.  Carrie is employed by Westfield Bank.

She introduced Joe Soulsby, a recent graduate of Hoban High School who will be attending Savannah College of Art and Design.  He has already participated in 16 plays and is a model. Joe gave a humorous presentation showing off his creative abilities.  He asked us to think about a memorable moment from his childhood that influenced the rest of our lives.  He told about a drawing he did when he was about four and how his father reacted very favorably to it.  He learned from this that he was capable of bringing joy to people and wants to do that as a career.  Joe brought joy to us this morning and we wish him well.
