Rotary Club of Cuyahoga Falls Celebrates
49th Annual Rotary Scholars Nightat Cuyahoga Falls High School.

On May 14th, the Rotary Club of Cuyahoga Falls had its 49th Rotary Scholars night at Cuyahoga Falls High School. The event was well attended by Rotarians, Scholars and their families. We were entertained by the renowned performing arts department at the school, with music by the Goldtones band as well as the M&M's show choir. Master of Ceremonies Bob Heydorn spoke some great words about our club, and the students as well as promoting our Youth Exchange program. Newly elected mayor Don Walters gave an excellent and well pointed address to the students about his two secrets to success, which are hard to argue with; Hard Work and Common Sense. We also awarded $5,000.00 in scholarships to 3 worthy graduating seniors Erin Horstman, Bryan Wilson, and Jessica Purdy.  Special thanks to Kathleen Heydorn,  School principal Allie Bogdan and Administrative Assistant Judy Ray for setting up this event.
