🕒 Time: 7:30 AM, every second Wednesday
👥 Format: In-person. Guests are always welcome.
There is no obligation to join. Come for breakfast, meet a few members, and see if Rotary feels like a good fit.
How Membership Works
Membership begins with a conversation. We invite prospective members to attend a few meetings, meet club members, and learn more about how Rotary works in Kanata.
If it feels like a good fit for both you and the club, we will guide you through a simple membership process. Once approved, you will be welcomed into the club and supported as you find the projects, committees, and activities that best match your interests.
What Does Membership Cost?
Rotary membership includes annual club dues, which help support the operation of the club, Rotary International membership, district activities, insurance, and other administrative costs.
There may also be optional costs through opportunities to support fundraising events, charitable projects, or The Rotary Foundation.
We are happy to walk through the current costs with you before you apply, so there are no surprises.
If membership fees are a barrier to joining the club, please let us know. We do not want cost to prevent someone from exploring Rotary.
What Is Expected of Members?
Rotary works best when members participate in a way that is meaningful and sustainable for them. Members are encouraged to attend meetings, take part in service projects, support club activities, and contribute their ideas and skills.
