Castlefrank Gateway Gardens Project
The club has been working on the two gardens in the medians on Castlefrank Road, near the intersections of Castlefrank/Hazeldean and Castlefrank/Katimavik. We manage these gardens through the City of Ottawa's "Adopt a Roadway" program.
You may have noticed the club working on our two adopted gardens in the medians on Castlefrank Road, near the intersections of Castlefrank/Hazeldean and Castlefrank/Katimavik. We got a late start this year and the weeds had taken charge. After four visits we were able to control the major weeds but there is still a lot of work ahead. Keep an eye on the gardens to see our progress; the club is planning to revitalize these gardens over the next year.
