Launch of the 2011 Backpack Program!
The Rotary Club of Ottawa Kanata Sunrise and the Kanata Walmart have partnered again for the 3rd year to distribute backpacks loaded with school supplies to local schools.
The Rotary Club of Ottawa Kanata Sunrise and the Kanata Walmart have partnered again for the 3rd year to distribute backpacks loaded with school supplies to local schools. Last year, 163 backpacks were distributed to local school children; this year, the target is 200 backpacks.
You can help by donating backpacks and/or school supplies in the drop box located at the Kanata Centrum Walmart.
If you are unable to shop but would still like to make a contribution, we would be happy to receive your donation and make the purchase on your behalf. To arrange a donation, or to answer any questions you may have about the program, please contact Kathleen Ellis at 613-592-1208.

of blunt scissors

1 package of coloured pencils
