NEXT MEETING IS AT PUNDERSON

PROGRAM - Saul Tucker.  Train your body, train your mind.

Saul is a trainer who works with individuals and organizations (including the Cavs Dance Team) to help them achieve their fitness goals.  He said his program is not a weight loss program, but rather a program that focuses on changing body composition to make the body a more efficient calorie burning machine.  Saul commented that muscle weighs signficantly more than fat and noted that 5 pounds of muscle takes up a lot less space in the body when compared to 5 pounds of fat.  Further, he added that muscle mass requires more calories to sustain itself than fat.  Therefore, if you develop more muscle mass, you may actually weigh more than you did before, but you will look like you lost weight and your body will burn more calories, even at rest.  Saul's website is www.tuckerlifecoaching.com.
