PROGRAM:  Bob Landies.  Ohio Ordinance Works (OOW).

Landies, from Chardon Ohio, started OOW after a successful career in the construction and maintenance industry.  Landies had always been passionate about military history and guns and decided to pursue this interest as his new career after construction work got tough in the early 1980s.  Initially, he bought and sold guns.  However, the business soon evolved into the manufacturing of replica vintage firearms and contracts with all branches of the military to build firearms to their specifications.  OOW's niche is their ability to turn orders around in 60 days or less, which is much quicker than the larger gun manufacturers.  Today, OOW has 30+ employees and is located in Chardon.
