PROGRAM - 8/11/10 - Amanda Peterson.  BMR Rotary Exchange Student to Hungary

Amanda is a student in the class of 2012 at Cardinal High School who will be leaving very soon for a school year in Hungary.  She presented to BMR the same presentation she will be giving to Rotary Clubs that she visits while in Hungary.  She will be staying with three different host families in the second largest city in Hungary.  Her presentation focuses on the things that matter most to her - family, friends, and her community.  BMR members gave her some input after her speech as to what she might want to add or talk more about.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Ralph Hurd's 93rd birthday was celebrated during the meeting on 8/11. 

Dick Hills is planning a trip to the Panama Canal next January or February.  The trip would be 3 nights and 4 days and will cost approximately $2500 per person.  Please see Dick if you have interest.
