PROGRAM - Geauga County Department of Community and Economic Development (CED), Anita Stocker.

Anita is the long time Director of the CED.  Her talk focused on the economic segment of the CED.  The organization looks to build the economic strength of our area by attracting, keeping, and growing businesses in Geauga County.  One of the ways they look to accomplish this is through the Geauga County Revolving Loan Fund.  This fund provides needed financing to growing businesses that promise to create new jobs in the county.  Some area employers who have utilized this fund include Great Lakes Cheese and Saint Gobain.  The organization also partners with other area entities such as Kent State Geauga (virtual business incubator) and the Community Involvement Corporation (CIC) and their "Buy Geauga" campaign.

GUESTS - Jim Pascoe and PDG John Bosco

HEADS AND TAILS - Jim Ebert wins two tickets to Rockin' Punderson.
