Meeting Discussion Items:
Nancy passed out information on the Chesterland Club's fundraiser golf outing on July 28th and the District's event at the Cleveland Indians game on August 1st. She was also selling raffle tickets for $10 to throw out the first pitch at the Indians game.
Bob Varga mentioned that a few people needed to get him their checks for the "Million Dollar Quartet" event.
Reminder: 2014-15 Dues are due by the end of July.
Chuck White passed out a 2014-2015 BMR Program Survey for all members to fill out and return to him regarding 3 questions:

Heads and Tails Winner: Dan McClelland
Program:
Tracy Jemison discussed the Geauga Growth Partnership and the benefits it brings to our county. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit business-led organization whose mission is to grow the economy of Geauga County. It is composed of 109 members, including businesses, government organizations, individuals, and other business-related organizations.
Some of the Geauga Growth Partnership's activities to benefit Geauga County include:

Internship program for local high school students (currently 35 students)

Career Day event for high school students (250 attended in 2014)

Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) programs for grade school students

Entrepreneur Programs

Business support, including advocate services, site selection services, export assistance, international connections, consulting, networking opportunities, supply chain assistance, financing options, workforce recruitment, educational programs, and others.

July 16 - at Blazin' Bills (dinner at 7:00 pm, $20) Speaker-Joyce Piteo, owner of Blazin' Bills and Chagrin Valley Rotary Member.
