The District Conference is April 23-25th at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky. Please get your reservations in if you are planning to attend. PROGRAM - Shriner. Mike Davidson and Rob Davidson. Mike spoke to our club representing the Al Koran Shriners which cover northeastern Ohio. Mike is in charge of admissions for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. There are 22 Shriners Hospitals nationwide. Each one has a special area of focus. Mike has a lot of experience with the Shriners Cincinnati Hospital which is a burn center. His son Rob was severally burned in a house fire years ago and the Cincinnati Hospital provided them with great care. All services provided at the hospitals are at no cost to the families. The hospitals are 100% supported by an assessment that each member pays on their dues. The money that has been accumulated allows the hospitals to operate off the interest alone, although in recent years the economy has affected their income.
