The meeting was called to order by club president, Tom Craig. Guests were recognized and included Jasen Sokol, Chris Stoll and our speaker Tom Harnden. Happy Dollars were collected. Ruth Kaser shared she was happy as the Lil' Eddy and the Boilermakers band,(in which Rotarian Don Kaser plays trombone), will be playing at Domenic's Pub in Cuyahoga Falls on Halloween. 
Ruth and president Tom Craig reminded club members our Reverse Raffle & Silent Auction will be held next Thursday, October, 29th at Guy's Party Center. Club members were urged to sell their remaining event tickets and to take their baskets for the Silent Auction to the Lake Anna YMCA. The club will be presenting Dennis O'COnnell and Holly Barkdoll with a cheque for $4000 at our event. The $4000 is part of our $20,000 pledge to the Magical Theatre Restore the Magic Capital Campaign.
Treasurer Vic Myers shared our club completed our pledge of $1000 to the Lake Anna YMCA Scholarship Program with our payment of $250.00. Lake Anna YMCA Executive Director, Jim Sawin thanked the club for the donation as the Scholarship Fund enables individuals and families to enjoy the benefits of the Y who would otherwise not be able to afford it.
VP of Community, Selena Myers reminded the club of our upcoming social event on December 5th at the Magical Theatre.
Our speaker was Tom Harnden. Tom is on the Leadership Team of the Magical Theatre renovation project. Tom shared the progress of the project- some of the before and after photos. The club then had the opportunity to take a tour of the theatre.
