Bob Cranmer is the principal of Osage Elementary School in Voorhees, New Jersey. He has served in this role for the last fifteen years. Before becoming principal, Bob was a special education teacher and the assistant principal. He has developed strong relationships with the students and families during his time at Osage.
If you ask anyone who knows Bob, they will tell you that the most favorite part of his job are the students. It is important to him that all children who attend Osage feel as though they are cared for and supported during their educational journey. He will stop whatever he is doing to help a student. Bob is grateful to have such an amazing staff who share his student-centered approach. People who visit Osage often say that it feels like a big family.
During Bob’s principalship Osage has successfully implemented several initiatives to help the students and their families outside of the regular school day. Osage has an Extended Day program to service students in need of reading and math remediation. He also initiated Homework Helpers which meets twice a week after school to provide students with extra help completing homework. In addition, Osage offers eight afterschool clubs to third through fifth grade students.
Bob has overseen many committees and teams to support staff with professional development. The Innovation Committee, made up of Osage staff members, meets each month and then provides training to staff on technology and 21st Century Learning. The Green Team consists of staff members from each grade level and subject area who meet every month to discuss building level concerns with Bob. Together they address the concerns and solve problems collaboratively.
When Bob isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He has three wonderful children and an amazing wife who is also an educator. Jenny and Bob’s two sons attend The College of New Jersey and their daughter is a junior at Lenape High School.
Bob is extremely thankful to the individuals and organizations that offer assistance to the students and families of Osage. The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary consistently helps year after year. They donate Thanksgiving meals to families in need, provide dictionaries to every third grade student, and give Josh the Otter books to each Kindergarten student during water safety month. In addition, the Voorhees Breakfast Rotary has been providing the students of Osage with healthy snacks to ensure they are hunger-free and ready to learn.
Bob is humbled to receive this award. He would like to thank the students, parents, and staff of Osage that make coming to work everyday an easy and enjoyable experience.
Stephanie Fowler serves as the Supervisor of the Records Division at the Voorhees Township Police Department, where she leads a dedicated team focused on modernizing records management, streamlining operations, and fostering an efficient and supportive workplace. With more than two decades of public service, Stephanie has held a wide range of roles within the Department. Her expertise spans supervision and training, information technology, background investigations, and project development. She is widely known for her innovative approach to process improvement and her commitment to cross-training and collaboration within the department.
Stephanie resides in Voorhees Township with her husband of 27 years, Chuck. Stephanie is the proud mom of four children—ages 22, 25, 33, and 35—and two beautiful granddaughters.
Stephanie’s dedication to helping others extends deeply into her community. She is the co-creator of the Voorhees Police Holiday Fund, which began in 2001 after a woman visited the police station seeking booster seats for her sister’s children. Learning that her sister was battling cancer, the family was struggling and unable to provide Christmas gifts, Stephanie and her colleagues were moved and regretted not asking for her contact information so they could offer to help. Later that day, she called the station to thank them because she was able to obtain seats, they saw it as a second chance, fate, and an opportunity to help. Stephanie and her colleagues were overwhelmed with the outpouring of support they received from local businesses, coworkers, and residents. That Holiday season, the Voorhees Police Holiday Fund was born.
Since then, Stephanie has played a pivotal role in growing the annual fundraiser, emphasizing that its success is the result of a true team effort. She credits her coworkers, volunteers, and family members—who kept the fundraiser going even during years she could not be as involved—as essential partners in making a difference. Now 24 years strong, the Holiday Fund has brought hope, joy, and stability to countless local families during the holiday season.
Stephanie was a deeply involved member of the E.T. Hamilton Elementary School PFA. She volunteered in classrooms, served as room mom, chaperoned trips, assisted during lunch periods, and supported every fundraiser—including the school’s annual fashion show. She also spent five years as Co-Leader of Girl Scout Troop 30520. Responsibilities included weekly meetings, and assisting in the organizing and chaperoning of numerous field trips, including weekend camping trips and educational experiences. Stephanie continued her volunteer service when her children were at Eastern High School, helping annually with the Holiday Craft Show fundraiser for Project Graduation.
