The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club conducts and participates in many service projects every year, both locally and internationally.
 
Our international charities include support of Rotary's worldwide Polio Plus program to eradicate polio, clean water projects in developing countries and our orphanage in Santo Domingo.
 
Locally, members of the Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club are active in:
 
  • Creating the For the Kids  Healthy Snack Program which provides additional nutrition for food insecure children in Voorhees Elementary Schools.
  • Organizing the Child Bike Safety Rodeo with Cynergy Cycling Club and the Voorhees Township Police Department.
  • Providing food baskets and gift certificates to our neighbors in need during the holidays.
  • Sponsoring Interact Clubs at Voorhees Middle School and Eastern High School.
  • Sponsoring high school students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Program each year.
  • Providing donations to other non-profits in the tri-county area.
  • Awarding college scholarship money to local high school students.
  • Providing dictionaries to elementary students in Voorhees.
  • Supporting the Josh the Otter water safety program for children in pre-school, kindergarten and first grade.
  • Providing food and volunteers to serve meals to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden.
  • Volunteering at the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden.
  • Volunteering at Voorhees Township community events.
  • Raising funds for national and international relief efforts for victims of devastating natural disasters.
  • Sponsoring and coordinating the Voorhees Township Spring Egg Hunt which is attended by over 200 children annually.
  • Sponsoring the Community Service Awards each year for the Voorhees community.
