What a wonderful year 2022 turned out to be! Our club was blessed with new members and created partnerships with other organizations, which will allow us to serve a greater number of people in our community, and beyond.
Our club tied a bow around 2022 by participating in our first ever Toy Drive, which was hosted by Voorhees Township, and benefited an important organization in our community. See our Rotarians in Actionsection for some photos of our recent events.

The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club closed out 2022 by conducting our first ever Toy Drive, while partnering with Voorhees Township, during the township's Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony was also the backdrop for one of the most anticipated events of the year. No, not the arrival of Santa (although the big guy did swing by to help light the holiday tree). The finals for Voorhees Got Talent was held prior the tree lighting and got everyone into the holiday spirit.
If you have been following these newsletters, you know that our club participated in a holiday tree decorating contest, which saw the judging take place during the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Unfortunately, our club did not win first place but it was a fun and easy way to get our name and motto in front of the community.
The community responded well to our Toy Drive and the toys that were collected were donated to The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center. The Kroc center serves as a beacon of hope and agent of change - a place where opportunity meets potential. The center serves over 1,300 families and over 3,000 children during Christmas. Our Toy Drive was able to help improve the holiday season for a few families in our community.

Community Service Awards
The Community Service Awards is our club's signature event of the year, where we honor those special people and businesses in Voorhees that are committed to improving our community.
The event, which is taking place at Lucien's Distinguished Catering in Berlin on March 9th, is only possible with the help of our sponsors.
