Dr. Ron Shaiko returned to our Rotary Club once again this year to share his insightful annual perspectives on American Politics and Foreign Relations. We always enjoy learning more about trends in our domestic political landscape and living vicariously through his many International Travels (most recently to Kosovo where yes, they still love Americans). Might we see a 3rd party? What regulatory/policy changes will we see?  This year's watch area: North Korea.

Ron graduated from OCHS and the son of Joan Shaiko and the late Tom Shaiko - a longtime Rotarian. Ron is a Senior Fellow and the Associate Director for Curricular and Research Programs at The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences at Dartmouth. The 2016-2017 academic year marks his 30th year of university teaching and his 16th year at Dartmouth College.

Time flew by as Ron presented to a crowded house @ Uncle Bill's. The photo below includes just a few of us with Ron (light blue polo shirt) and his Mom, Joan Shaiko with the white necklace, after the meeting adjourned.
