2020 Flags For Our Heroes

This year the Haddon Heights Rotary wants to include these hometown heroes along with our military on Memorial Day. Any person you would like to honor for their work during this crisis may be included. Memorial Day is a solemn day that usually includes gatherings of family and friends for backyard barbecues, a time that is the gateway to the carefree days of summer. As we come to understand the sacrifices for freedom, we give thanks and appreciate those who make it possible.
This project has been instrumental in allowing Haddon Heights Rotary to expand scholarship assistance for high school seniors. This year four $3,000 scholarships are being awarded. For each flag requested please include a $5 donation and you are welcome to collect your flag after Memorial Day. Your request may be mailed to: Haddon Heights Rotary, P.O. Box 23, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 or dropped off at Evoy-Banasz Funeral Home 129 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights (side door mail slot). Wednesday, May 20, 2020 is the deadline.
